TapeSentry will transparently encrypt selected data destined for tape or offline backup media, ensuring tapes leave your premises secured; even in the event of theft.

It uses rules-based lookups to decide what data will be encrypted.

Virtual TapeServer

As your data volumes increase, backups take longer, as does recovery. And the likelihood of data corruption is also greater. That’s why the SurePath suite ensure your data is backed up efficiently, reliably and in a manner that is easily recoverable.

Virtual TapeServer is a disk-based backup system that sidesteps traditional disk-based backups by emulating a tape library, thus ensuring compatability with your existing systems.

Secure Parser

The problem of securely transmitting information over distance has been eased with the Secure Parser.

By splitting sensitive data at the bit level into physically separate pieces then distributing those chunks, information security is assured. Each piece has integrity checks for itself and the other pieces, and no two pieces travel together over the network so if one or more are compromised they cannot be tampered with and convey no meaning.

In addition, if one or more of the pieces are lost or damaged, the entire message can be reconstituted from a configurable number of intact pieces at the destination.
